File Sync
Your ONE AI project lives on your computer in OneWare Studio. To train in the cloud, OneWare Studio uploads the project files to OneWare Cloud.
First sync
The first time, open the Training tab of your project in OneWare Studio and click Sync. This creates the project in the active organization and uploads your files.
Sync to Cloud
After the first sync, the Sync to Cloud button is next to the license status in the Training tab, so it is always visible, even when a model is selected. It uploads the files you added, changed or deleted locally. Trainings, tests and exports always use the last uploaded state. A progress bar shows what is being uploaded. Sync to Cloud works on all plans.
Starting a training also syncs your project first, so you do not have to click Sync to Cloud before each training.
What is transferred
- Only files that changed are transferred. OneWare Studio compares the content of files by their checksum (SHA-256), so a file that was only saved again without changes is not uploaded again.
Conflicts
If the files in the cloud were changed in the meantime, for example by another member of the organization, Sync to Cloud warns you with Cloud Has Newer Changes and lists the files your upload would overwrite or delete. Choose Overwrite cloud or Cancel.
Who can see your files
All members of the organization that owns a project can see the project and its synced files. To keep files away from certain people, use a separate organization for them. Before you sync, make sure that all members may see the files and that the files do not infringe copyrights or other third-party rights and do not contain personal data. See the Terms of Service.
Storage and limits
- Project files are stored on ONE WARE servers in Germany.
- The storage per project depends on the plan: 1 GB (Free), 5 GB (Pro Trial) or 45 GB (Pro).
- Projects may be removed after 90 days without activity (training, testing, exporting or syncing), on every plan. You are informed before. See the Terms of Service.
- Deleting a project in the OneWare Cloud deletes its files in the cloud, not on your computer.
Keeping data on your own infrastructure
With a self-hosted worker, Sync to Cloud uploads your project to your own worker instead of OneWare Cloud. Owners and admins can enforce this with the policy Only use self-hosted workers. OneWare Studio then never uploads project files to OneWare Cloud. Until a self-hosted worker is set up, Sync to Cloud is disabled and marked SELF-HOSTED ONLY.
